I’m a licensed psychotherapist and clinical supervisor with more than 15 years of practice and over 20,000 clinical hours. When psychotherapy became a licensed profession in Bahrain, I was one of the first two psychotherapists to be licensed. I co-founded Insights Therapy, Bahrain’s first mental health clinic, where I’m now Clinical Lead.

My work focuses on trauma, grief and loss, self-worth, body image and the relationships that shape us. I work with individuals, couples and families, including people living with serious illness, survivors of domestic violence, and clients navigating family, faith and belonging. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing on EMDR, the Satir Model, CBT, clinical hypnotherapy and body-based work.

In sessions I aim to create a warm, collaborative space where you can understand yourself better and find your way back to who you are. When something needs to change, we work out together what that looks like. When life has changed you through illness or loss, we make room for what happened and for how you move forward.
