On your journey towards clarity and well-being, you deserve a space that is confidential and free of judgment. Alongside me, rest assured that you are given the room to freely express yourself and explore your inner world without constraints.
I approach therapy from an omnidirectional lens, blending my academic background in Psychology, Media Literacy, Creative Writing, and Play Therapy to tune in to your daily struggles in different ways. As an Adult-Centered practitioner, I tailor my therapeutic techniques to your personality, life experience, and unique needs. This toolbox may include resources from Satir’s family-focused therapy, hypnotherapy and visualization, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic techniques and bodywork, play and game concepts, and multimedia cinematherapy.
When working with children as a Child-Centered Play Therapist, I focus on the self-worth-building techniques to help children work through their own developmental issues and challenges such as ADHD, trauma, and daily emotional dysregulation. Ultimately, the goal is to build-up children’s self-esteem, creativity, resilience, and adaptability to challenges that come their way. I believe that the key to positive change is unconditional positive regard, where children feel accepted and valued. Thereon, we can work through their own challenges without the pressure of having to perform in a specific way. Combined with free play, I find that children of all ages are able to work through their unique challenges to build the problem-solving circuitry of their brains, strengthen their mind-body connection, and equipping them with the skills required to adjust to life as it comes and maintain inner contentment and joy into adolescence and adulthood.
Thus, in the therapy room, we’ll work towards deepening knowledge of your own strengths and capacities for self-improvement. Our collaborative relationship will equip you with techniques for daily emotional regulation; moving you towards embodying your unique sense of self. Ultimately, my role is to assist you in your journey towards clarity and personal well-being in a space that is both confidential and free of judgement.
