Assessments
Diagnoses can help you identify particular psychological conditions that affect your health and well-being. This includes assessments for developmental or genetic conditions, as well as conditions you may have acquired from your upbringing and sociocultural contexts. Seeking professional diagnosis is essential for early intervention and appropriate treatment. A diagnosis can help you identify and understand your condition, and can lead to better management and improved quality of your life.
Whether you are a student or a working professional, seeking an assessment or diagnosis can give you a valuable insight into yourself and your mind.

Neurodevelopment Assessments:
Process
The assessment procedure would include:
- A one-hour consultation session that takes place at Insights Therapy Center to review the client’s background information and concerns.
- An appointment will then be scheduled for the assessment decided on during the consultation session.
- Some assessments are completed in a single sitting. Whereas, the longer assessments or more than one assessment if needed, may be conducted over the course of two or three days (a total of six to seven hours approximately).
- Once all the data is collected, our neuropsychologist will work on preparing a general or detailed report (if requested) which would include assessment scores & results, along with intervention suggestions and recommendations.
- The assessment process ends with a face-to-face feedback session lasting 30 minutes to one hour, which is provided to the parents, client, school/college, to discuss intervention strategies or a treatment plan that can be customized to the needs of the client.
